Idles low about 600 rpm in gear at a complete stop. changed the cam sensor and still idles low.

check also intake air control valve. If it runs good with your foot on the gas pedal but runs like s*** with your foot off the gas pedal start there.

I got a 2006 mercury montego premier it keeps give me a code camshaft position senser senser 1 bank 1 ive changed it twice tested the plug in its good it idles low when i hit the gas in park it wont go over 2000 in drive wont go over 30 mph just changed the plugs i got plenum gaskets i was going to try to put them on tomorrow if that doesnt fix it i was going to try changing the fuil filter can you help
