Jaguar x type 2002

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was in my jaguar 2002 x type and the car was in
reverse. I was backing up and heard a noise and
the car went forward while in reverse and the gear
shifter was lose and the car turned off once I let the
brake go the car drifted back.

sounds like a slip in your gearbox. May want to take to a mechanic to get tranny inspected..
