Battery light is due to a charging problem, most probably your alternator failed. You won't be driving much longer till the battery is discharged. For the oil light, is it the maintenance light or the red oil light? Red oil light is your low on oil pressure, maintenence light, your due for an oil change. Either way, it's time for a visit to the garage.

Obviously, check oil level, and battery for condition, check out put of charging system. If engine has correct level of oil the oil light could be a bad oil pressure sender unit or a gauge malfunction, a common occurrence for both
