1991 chevy suburban V1500 sometimes won't start

Asked by Jun 15, 2015 at 10:18 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet Suburban V1500 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Runs fine most of the time but sometimes will not
start, but if you wait any where from 15 minutes to
2 hours, it will start right up. When you turn to run
battery shows 12V and dash lights turn on and
fuel pump kicks on but starter solenoid won't kick
on.

Have you had the starter checked?

Havent had time to really look. I was thinking it might be the bendix spring
