Recently replaced fuel pump, now the pump failed again. There is proper voltage going to it. Defective Pump? Thanks, Lee

Check the ground path for unwanted resistance. Did you replace the strainer with the pump? Also reman or cheap parts do fail.

You probably just got a defect. That does happen from time to time. Get a Delphi fuel pump. Very good quality & an OEM supplier to GM. HTH. -Jim
