No Power To Fuel Pump

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder that will not start. One day while
driving down the freeway it started acting as if it was running out of gas. I
could not get the speed above 50 mph. The next morning it would not start at
all. After much internet searching and troubleshooting I have discovered that
there is no power to the fuel pump when the ignition is turned on. I checked all
the fuses associated to the fuel pump and they are okay. I connected power
directly from the battery to the fuel pump and it will run. I have read in several
online forums that there is a relay for the fuel pump. I purchased a fuel pump
relay for a 2007 Toyota Camry but I can not locate it in my vehicle so that I
can replace it. Nor have I been able to find a reliable answer online, such as
under the hood, or behind the glove box. I sent an email to Ask Toyota on
5/15/18 asking where this relay is located but have yet to receive an answer.
Does anyone know the location of this relay?

Toyota calls their FP Relay a Circuit Opening Relay,,,,C/OPN. It's location is in the ....Integration Relay located under the drivers dash. It is an electronic circuit....not the usual electro-mechanical device. When it fails...the entire circuit board must be replaced. Suggest a call to the nearest Toyota Parts Dept. for verification. Why not try this. Hot wire the FP as you have indicated and take the vehicle for a ride. WE usually use a FUSED jumper wire for safety. Let us know if that solves your issue before spending a lot of $$$ replacing good parts.

I was afraid it might be something like that. When I hot wired the pump I only did it to see if the pump was working. I did not think of trying to start the engine while it was hot wired. I will try that next and let you know.

Sounds like a plan. Make sure your Hot Wire is well insulated from ground.....and...secure.
