key fob

Asked by Mar 20, 2009 at 10:43 AM about the 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do you reset the key fob?

1 Answer

You will have to take both key fobs, #1 and #2 with you to the dealer so that he can verify the VIN number of your car. Then he has to sinc both fobs to the car security system, or you will not be able to set the different light/horn options. It does not take long, but at $100.00 per hour shop rate.........Plan on an hour.
