There isn't a 97 tbi engine. They switched to the vortec style in 96.

I have a 1995 Silverado z71 5.7L. It will randomly lose all power both while in motion or stationary and sometimes will kick itself back on. Every once in a while when it does this it will not turn back on. No lights on the dash or anything. Almost like there is no battery in the truck. I have a k1500 chevy pickup with a 350 motor It will not start all the time and shuts off when coming to a stop sometimes. 1 Answer

There is no ground single coming from the ecm to the injectors. I have replaced the ecm and throttle position, air idle, and map sensors. I also checked the ground wires and cleaned the conections.
