Motor spins to start but spins out

Asked by Larkinofsickchevy Oct 12, 2017 at 06:37 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet C/K 1500 4WD

I've had to replace all my freeze plugs and
when I go to start it up it'll spin and act's like
it's going to turn over but spins out I was
told to check the starter sensor. Is that what
might be the problem or is it something else

There is no starter sensor. Maybe the starter solenoid is going bad.
