A 1994 model is OBD I. A 2002 model is OBD II. Completely different computer command control systems. HTH. -Jim

a 2002 Tahoe should use the new 5.3 not a 350. They are a different motor and wont just bolt up. If it was truly a vortec 350 the block would bolt up but the intake setup isnt compatable with the 94 ecu and harness

The 5.3/6.0 would still bolt up to the tranny but that's about it. As Andrew and Jim said it's not a simple swap. The 5.7 is closer but in not a drop in. If you have time and money the LS-style motor is an upgrade over TBI.

The used TBI 5.7 liter's that fit your truck are a dime a dozen and cheap. They usually outlast the 700r4's and 4L60e's 5 to 1 and the rising tranny price has put many truck in the junkyards..
