Asked by Kristina Aug 25, 2017 at 10:30 AM about the 1997 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: General

My truck runs smooth for the most part. Every now
and then it wants to baug down at take off usually
and sometimes while driving. Idles great. Baugs
down when I push the gas to take off or while
driving plz help. All started after putting in a fuel
regulator.

You may want to check your injectors for leaks or see if one is not working. It sounds like you're either getting too little fuel for combustion or too much air. If your injectors are fine then the new regulator might be restricting the amount of fuel.
