Asked by Jun 03, 2016 at 07:00 AM about the 1997 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab LB 4WD

Question type: General

I put 3 inch key ways on my 1997 k1500
Chevy . now it rides really rouph in the front.
Do I need bigger shocks?

1 Answer

By going the route you did you have ran the suspension up to a higher tension point, so naturally the ride will be stiffer, bigger shocks won't help, in fact they could actually make it even rougher, if you want your ride back you will have to put it back to factory.
