we have a 1997 chevy silerado, put a used motor in ran good few days then died no spark

we replaced crank sensor, plugs and wires, all the dist. parts, and the ECM. Husband been a mechanic all his life but this has him stumped. we tried the starting fluid thing, and we hear the pump running, we replaced it a few years ago.

Do you have spark coming from coil and also power and ground at coil

Do you have spark from distributor. And is the distributor turning

Check your coil again. Pull the coil wire off the distributor and see if you have a good spark going to distributor. If not I would check ignition module mounted beside ignition coil

think we replace the ignition module but will check on that thank you will let you know about ready to sell and be done, but with the motor, new parts, and tires a lot in it.

Is there a way to test the ignition module, The one on there looks like it has bubble on the black side, like it has been hot. Hate to spend the money if that is not the trouble, we live on fixed income
