Can a cap and rotor keep my 97 chevy with the 5.7 vortec from starting
I set the timing new chain and gears I even
checked the rotor to make sure it was on
number one the motor will crank real fast
then it will bog down to were it barely turns
I noticed the cap and rotor had alot of burnt
up and carotid points I need help guys
Did you plug the crank position sensor back in?
Yea I plugged it in I'm just not sure if the crank sensor is bad or if the cap and rotor is
If the cap and rotor have some age to them it couldn't hurt to replace them. Was the distributor removed or turned?
