Speratic speedometer at 40mphand lower

Asked by Ronald Jun 08, 2016 at 10:16 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet C/K 2500 Extended Cab LB HD 4WD

Starts shifting sporadically when the speed gets below 40mph. The
speedometer bounces sporadically and the antilock brake light comes on and
the brakes won't work properly.  If I come to a stop the throttle is weard and it
wont shift untill I reach 35 mph. When it does shift it hammers it. I have tried to
reset the powertrain control module but it doesn't stay set very long.
