Just purchased, has rough shift from 1st to 2nd gears.  Rest of gears are smooth.  Is this a problem?  Any experience with this?

clutches in tranny are probley sticking,at next or just do a fluid & filter change, add a bottle of LUCAS tranny fluid in it.should cure the problem.

Thanks for the info. This is a 1995 Riviera without supercharger. We were told at a dealer that it needed a new modulator for the problem with shifting. Any opinion on that?
