My car only tries to crank if I turn the ignition switch back what's wrong?
sounds like an ignition switch, its mounted down on the steering column adjasent to the brake pedal remove the plastic cover you'le need a 7mm wrench and a small screw driver to release the wiring connector, it mounts over a steel rod that goes up the column to the lock cylinder so once you get the screws out lift it straight up to remove
I agree, the switch. Set the park brake and disconnect the battery before attempting replacement, I knew a guy that did his and I don't how he did it but the engine started and ran through his shop door with him laying on the floor of the car, what a ride he said.
