my 1994 buick park avenue a/c stops blowing cold air when cooolant temerature red light comes on. it will turn off usually in about 15 minutes, and ac will blow cold, but it's quite frustrating

my 1994 buick park avenue a/c stops blowing cold air when cooolant temperature red light comes on.  coolant temperature light t will turn off usually in about 15 minutes just long enough for me to get sweaty driving to work.
any ideas?  a/c is fully charged and flushed recently.

You better find out why the temp light comes in the first place, too much of that and the head gaskets will blow or you will crack a cylinder head, don't delay, if you do it will end up costing you a lot more.
