Where is the voltage regulator?

After about 15 seconds after starting the engine the indicator shows the alternator is not
working.

Voltage regulator is in the altinator. Its the insert wiring piece you plugin the alt its a 2" black plastic chip that regulates your out put charge

Have the charging system thoroughly checked, if I remember these vehicles the alternator is computer controlled, so you really don't have a regulator that is a repairable unit.

In the alternator. Replace it.. I personally have one with 270,000 miles on it. Works fine as well as a/c and starter
