Take it to ur local autoparts store to read the codes, that will narrow it down. Do the easy checks. Ckeck ur fluids and make sure none of the sensors are loose or disconnected. Ur car probably went in "Limp mode" this ussuallyhappens when ur oil is too low or a sensor is disconnected

I have a 1996 Buick Sabre with 147,000's on it I has had check engine light for a long time but now it started blinking. the last time it did this it didn't accelarate well and after I turned off the engine it didn't start. The battery seems good. Does it need to be towed or can I get it started again Roger
