I have a loud clunking noise in my front end when I make a left turn

Asked by Jun 30, 2013 at 09:29 PM about the 2001 Buick LeSabre Limited Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have changed the left lower control arm, the cv boot and axle, the left wheel bearing and the sway bar link and the noise seems to be getting worse.

Sounds like a worn ball joint or tie rod end. Jack up the front of the car with the parking brake set. Try shaking each front tire. Side to side and top to bottom. If you can move the tire, with the steering wheel locked, there's your problem. HTH. -Jim
