i changed the plugs i changed the wiring one of the coil will not fire.

ECM is an older term for PCM. The vehicle's computer or "brain". OBD I (1981 thru 1995) vehicles used Electronic Control Modules. OBD II (1996 thru present) use Powertrain Control Modules. Before 1981 onboard computers were referred to as Electronic Control Units (ECU). Cadillac, for example, had ECUs as early as the mid-70s on their optional fuel injected engines. HTH. -Jim


seems like u might need a ignition module. ..engine must be running rough and missing.
