How to check the cruise control? Is there a fuse for it? I can't get it to work.

Out of adjustment or Faulty brake pedal switch and or out of adjustment or faulty clutch pedal switch can cause one not to work. Also vacuum leak to actuator under hood can cause one not to work.

Check your 3rd brake light. On my '93 Caprice (GM from the same time period) if the 3rd brake light burned out it would disable the cruise control. HTH. -Jim
