I have 1999 Buick century, ac blows hot air, recently had a friend put freon in it and he may have put too much. Went to get it check and the shop said its recharge but the air compressor will not turn on. So now what?

Maybe I need to manually turn on compressor

Compressor fuse and/or relay.

No it did not work after my friend put in the freon, I think he overcharged it by add too much freon and he did it while the car was off
