How do i make sure its my heater core that went out on my 2005 Town & Country and if its the frount or rear heater core?
The heater core is inside your firewall. so you only have one. You would know if it needs replacing when you 1. Don't have heat in the car, 2. Puddles of coolant in the car under the dash. 3. you smell coolant, 4. your windshield fogs up. Are you confusing your radiator near the front bumper with the heater core?
follow the puddles and remove whats in the way temporary, always have a plan to ''go back, reassemble and watch '' you can drive a car without coolant for about five minutes, tho its not reccomended . watch your heat gauge....in non freezing weather you can use water, not antifreeze which is expensive and somewhat toxic
