I have a 2004 Chrysler T/C ,I want to change my shocks. What's better Painted or powder coated
Doesn't matter on the finish of the stats or shocks as you won't really see them under the van and they will last just as long. Go with a major brand such as Monroe or KYB to get you a decent warranty.
the type of coating is of little concern to most . that the piston has a strength to cushion the bumps and maintains it over time is the functional requirement and has nothing at all to do with the outside coatings
