I have a 2000 T&C LXi. My problem is the brakes will lock up by themselves. The only way I can release them is by opening the bleeder and relieve the pressure. I think it has something to do with the traction control or ABS. It all started after a winter storm where the traction control was kicking in alot. Dummy me did not think to turn if off. Now it seems to just build up pressure on the brakes through normal stopping or very little slippage. My question is would it be the traction control module and/or ABS.
is all brakes locking up or just one wheel? If one wheel is locking up, it would be the rubber brake house.....if all are locking up, than i would check the proprotion valve or the master cyclinder (i would lean more towards the master cyclinder)...good luck..anymore questions just write me
tried everything Then i found a mecanic that reached down and pulled the brack pedal up real hard and re set a switch and it fixed the problem this really works
