Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The van drove fine yesterday morning to the store ! Went
to leave my house a couple hours later and it was
sluggish to start but started and ran for a while ! Got back
home and about an hour later went to leave again and
even more sluggish to start ! It ran and as I got down the
street the acceleration slowed very much and the idle was
dropping and bouncing up and down ! Turned around and
went home and the van died and now won't start ! What
could this be ! Please help there is only 42,000 miles on it
!

I'd check the condition of the battery first. What is the voltage? How old is it? A battery lasts on avg. 4-6 years. A weak battery will cause the symptoms your experiencing.
