2006 Chrysler Sebring engine light on.

Just had mainenance done, replaced water outlet hose, 6 cyl maintenance tune up, vps cooling system fluid exchange. what could be causing the engine light to come on. Approx. 92,000 miles

Time for an engine code read. If you do your own troubleshooting, there are several excellent models under $200. If I were to guess, it may be as simple as a poor connection related to your recent work, or a failed sensor.

Improper coolant.level will set light as will un tightened gas cap

Your garage mechanic will read the code out when he diagnoses, but if you want a preview in hopes you may be able to do the work yourself, you can also borrow a code reader from an auto supply store like Advance or NAPA. Of course they hope you'll buy parts from them for the fix.
