'Multi' designates the bulb has 2 filaments, I assume you are replacing the brake light bulb. One filament lights up for the rear driving light when you turned on your lights, and one lights up when you press down on the brake light. HTH's.

Yep Toms right, the numbers are the voltage, style and wattage so 12v are the volts, 3157 is the style or type and the P 27/7 is the wattage of the 2 filaments. HTH
