Asked by John Dec 25, 2019 at 09:39 AM about the 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car was failing to start, would crank but not start. checked fuses, wiring to the battery found the positive terminal appeared to be cracked and corroded. Checked battery voltage had 12 to 12.1 volts. removed and took battery to parts store and had them check it, was border line so I purchased a new battery and terminals ends. hooked everything up turned the key it started to turn over and everything went dead. checked fuse box fuses appeared good, could not find voltage anywhere
