More power- no monster motors

I want to know ehat a good motor would be for a
92 s10 that isnt a monster or even an ass
haulin'350. I want something that has more torque
than the 4 cylinder but still driveable. I love the
look of these trucks and mine is special to me, so
no monsters. Just a little bigger motor

Well if you don't want a V8 there is the V6 engines that have very good torque for thier size. You can probably find an entire rig at a wrecking yard to use as a parts vehicle.
