How to remove overhead light console?

Question type: Car Customization

I want to install an aftermarket rear-view mirror (with compass) for my wife. I hope to find a 12V source in the overhead courtesy multi-purpose assembly (switchable dome lights, sunroof switch, dome light override, sunglass holder). There are two hex-head screws inside, behind the sunglass holder. However, are there more fasteners hidden somewhere? Before I start prying and break something... there must be some way to get in to change the bulbs; any advice?

i would probably start poking and prodding to try and get the thing out, but I understand your trepidation to do so on a new car. If I were you I would swing by a Honda dealer and ask them how to remove it. I'm sure they would be more than happy to answer you question.
