I have a full size 1993 chevy blazer with sealed beam headlights, high and low beams are totally separate. So I have 4 headlights total. Does anyone make a aftermarket package for this?
Daniel Stern is pretty knowledgeable about lighting http://www.danielsternlighting.com/ Your car uses 9005 and 9006 bulbs. There is an upgrade called H1R and H2R or 9011 and 9012. They are expensive but seem to make a huge improvement and on this forum it has been discussed. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?313028-H11- and-9005-upgrade These guys don't advocate using an HID kit because the light filament may not be located in the correct position for you stock headlamp housing to work properly.
No kits just HID bulbs or replacement types like Sylvania Silver star at Pep Boys. There are custom shops around that do this mod. AC or DC ballasts are used because more watts are needed.
