What do I need to buy to keep my car from down shift while driving a constant speed the transmission fluid is full and is still bright red and does not smell burnt

you could have a bad tourque converter control solenoid. these help the tranny stay locked in gear at highway speeds. not a real easy job, might want to ask a pro.
