Can't start my 2007 push button Nissan Altima

Got in to start the car and the car want start. Though it was the battery but all the lights and the radio works so its not that. When pushing the brake to start the car, the brake will not go down and i also do not have any back brake lights. Need some help!

most cars with push button require you to have your foot on the brake to start it, possibly the brake pedal switch has failed
