Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The gas tank is full but the fuel gauge reads 1/2.  What could be the problem?

well, seems like something that happens to most cars... all you is to have it recalibrated.... something that can be done in a day or two... don't remember how long mazda's warranty lasts but i have a feeling yours expired already... just be sure to fix it at a mazda dealer..not some mom and pap garage... they might end up fixing one thing and breaking another. good luck.

Fill up the car and uninstall the battery over night. Try this and if it doesnt fix it self, go to Mazda...
