Mazda 6 won't start when cold

Asked by Jul 27, 2015 at 02:39 PM about the 2007 Mazda MAZDA6 s Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Twice I went to start my car in the morning and it wouldn't start.  There was no noise (clicks or engine turning) but the dash lights lit up.  Both times I left it for about an hour and then it started up.  Mechanic has not been able to get the starter to fail.  Other suggestions for what is causing the problem?  Thanks!
