I don't believe there were any plans to make the Magnum AWD. When I worked at the Dodge dealership, the Magnum was not a huge seller for us, and apparently not for Dodge as a whole. They were concentrating on the Avenger and the Chargers in the passenger car segment. Those were the only two that had AWD as an option at that time.

Is it true about the rumors of Dodge not putting the Magnum back into production?

It is true. The Magnum as well as the PT Cruiser convertible and the Pacifica name have been dropped for model year 2009

I do not believe so. My dad works for Dodge so this is not anything I've heard to be done. Why ruin a perfectly awesome rear-wheel drive car anyway?!

Also, 2008 is the last year for Magnums.
