Chrystler 98 T&C minivan overheating n idling high.... Can't afford mechanic.... Any ideas on y??? Or what issue could b? Also... Engine light comes on....

afford mechanic labor....

Low coolant, engine cooling fan not operating, water pump failure, Captive air pocket in cooling system, fins in radiator full of dirt and or bugs, radiator plugged internally, thermostat not opening properly, just to name a few.
