Changing window motor
Both window motors for each door are dead and I am trying
to change the motors but I cannot reach them since they
are attach being the metal frame when I removed the door
panels. Is there a way to remove the window motors?
motors are probably ok...the wiring harness that flexes ever time you open the door most likely is what is bad...there are replacement harnesses available as this is a common issue~
if you've got 12 volts handy..one might "jump" the wires to find out if there is continuity~...and possibly "juice the goose" and make it run~ test leads should be used so that you may not have to find the ends of the connectors~ https://www.zoro.com/value- brand-test-probe-piercing-insulation-4wra3/i/G1951451/? gdffi=047ada998cf641fa93e55ae8579df863&gdfms=9860A3AC 57AC4A4C9E37B1A2AD322272&gclid=CjwKEAjw3qu5BRC- 0uCw8O6Y5zcSJAA_WtdLHlBHylV1OzEIY3gj4HPN9ZmquH2ejvt8 1ubs3wlJRRoC7wfw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
