how to report a dealer with illegal pratices

Asked by Nov 26, 2016 at 12:36 PM about the 2007 Subaru Forester 2.5 X Premium Package

Question type: General

I put a 500 dollar good faith deposit to hold a car. I was told the car was in
inventory at the time of the deposit and it had been sold. I was holding the car
for 3 days. It was a bate and switch.

Hopefully you got a receipt for the $500? Yes, I'd file a police report! HTH. -Jim

Did they give your money back?

If you were refunded your money there may not be any fraud. I would let it go and move on if you got your money back.
