I have a 2007 Forester, 64,000 miles. A noise developed in right rear tire. New bearing put on, tires rotated. Noise still there. My mechanic can't find the problem. Please help.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There was a noise in the right rear tire. It sounded like the tire was wobbling but it was not. My mechanic replaced the bearing and rotated the tires.  It's still making the noise.  He is still working on he car but cannot find anything else that is wrong.  Help.

its probably the brakes

could be the brakes, the drive spindle for that hub, or an issue with the differential, those would be my best guesses.
