2002 saturn SL2 does not want to shift into 3d gear while driving

my 02 Saturn sl2 stopped shifting into third gear , speeding up or slowing , it seems to skip third and slam into fourth or from fourth into second, fluids replaced every 20000 miles , car has 160000 miles on it , any ideas?

You have two options you can try a transmission addictive like Lucas Transmission Fix which is no guarantee but worth a try or replace or have transmission rebuild.

Check transmission fluid first if it looks brown instead of red you may want to change fluid and filter first or just the fluid before adding additive.
