Go to a few trans shops, let them test drive it. Get 2 or 3 shops to tell you the same thing. Then you'll probably have the true answer. Then take it to the one you trust the most...but MAKE SURE you check!

I'd check the engine mounts...they crack and go bad...and change the geometry and linkage...well worth a look, at least~ the actual linkages...or electric controls might be loose~ wires nibbled by squirrels...~ only guess...physicality of the location of the connections~

Bob....I like that 'excedrin' post, lol

Yeah props to the aspirin pic that was hilarious! Anyone who's ever owned a vehicle knows that that's appropriate to have aspirin handy! All I could say is all the good advice has been well noted but have you check your transmission fluid level maybe if you added fluid it might switch gears?

Did you get the recall done regarding the shifter linkage? Mine went out completely. Ordered the part (less than a dollar) then found out it was a recall that was just released so they fixed it for free.

Quite amazed..GM dropped saturn quite a few years ago yet we have to keep 'em on the road yet...up here in Clearlake are quite popular~ always found not enough leg room for a tall person, with that~ inspect, and replace the faulty~...what else~?
