Water top up all the time

Asked by Oct 19, 2014 at 03:01 PM about the 2002 Saturn S-Series 3 Dr SC2 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My coolant light is constantly on. I have filled the water reservoir over and over again,
every time I do an errand and come back home. Anyone else have this problem and know
what it might be?

Is it overheating and blowing it out? Or do you come home and everything is dry under the hood but your coolant is just low?

Blown head gasket if you can't find any external leaks.

Hi there to my knowledge from what I can see everything looks dry but under the car it is showing a pink liquid. Yes the coolant is low.

So you do have a leak, get the system pressure tested to see if it is just a hose or something like a water pump before you damage something expensive like your engine.
