I just had a new clutch put in my saturn sc3, this is a 5 speed stick shift. while driving my car tonight my headlights as well as my interior lights began dimming and my car would not shift into 4th gear. I turned off my wipers, (raining really hard) radio, and defrost/heater. Any correlation?would not shift into 4th gear

The lights dimming have no relation to the shifting of the transmission. Your alternator has probably crapped out, and you may have a problem with the shift cables, the shift tower, or one of the blockers in the transmission itself preventing the 4th gear selection.
