I put a1998 sc1 engine in a1996 sw2 place some of the wire harness is different do I need to take the computer out of the 98 and put in the 96 and change the wire harness also

no need to use the 98 computer. What parts of the harness are you talking about being different? Also, if you are putting a SOHC engine in place of the DOHC engine originally with the car, you will need a computer for a SOHC b/w 96 and 97.
