what is the cause of large amounts of oily soot build up in the intake manifold?

Blocked or clogged PCV valve

Its caused by the PCV and that little tube coming off of the right hand side of the valve cover. Its not hurting anything, so dont try to clean it off. I have to use a power washer to get those suckers clean. Also, it doesnt mean the pcv is clogged. Its normal on all turds.

Thanks for your help. I cleaned both the PVC and the intake manifold.
