car starts but will not shift

Would start by looking at the brake switch...get someone behind to tell you if the brake lights are working...the reason is they cannot have you engaging while rolling....not no mo my's all INTERLOCKED for you feel safer now? if you've got no brake lights, there's your problem...bad brake switch~OK, alright~!

have brake lights. security light came on,all gauges went hay wire.could it be a fuse?

I believe there is a lockout on the shifter solenoid...for whatever the reason?...look at ALL the fuses~

looks like fuse 4 and 6 are responsible~
